End of year playlists...

You most likely know that Chart Your Music provides continuous insights through a collection's overview on what is the most popular track or album measured by points, number of entries in charts, number of number 1 positions, highest position and average position.

You can obviously freely determine what is the most suitable time for such an insight: at the end of the year or maybe when reflecting on the past year while already in the new year. But finalizing that insight at the beginning of December like Apple Music Replay or Spotify Rewrap are trying to push on all of their subscribers seems like a bit too early…?

With Chart Your Music, you specify the overview period to report on, and when you want to generate that overview.

With the latest update, you can now also create a playlist from that overview in your selected music service. Note that the playlist only works with tracks (as albums are not supported as playlist entries) and is limited to a max of 100 entries. Also be aware that it can take some minutes for the playlist to be fully available in your music service, but once completed you can comfortably listen to all your favourite tracks from that single playlist. And obviously in reverse ranking order to ensure the playlist builds up to the best tracks.

You can grab the latest update from the app store. I wish you all the best for 2025 with a lot of music to love… over time….
