It should not always be at the end of…. the chart…
One of the gripes of Chart Your Music is occurring when you add a new entry to a chart (when you use Search Entry) or pick an existing entry to add to a chart (using Pick Entry). That new or existing entry is always added to the end (bottom) of the chart and it's up to you to move it to its desired position.
With the most recent update, you can now specify a position where you want the new entry or existing entry to appear in the chart. The entry is effectively inserted in the chart at the specified position, moving all other entries below it one position downwards.

The initial value of that position is intelligently determined by the last interaction you had with the chart since viewing. For example:
When you insert a new or pick an existing entry, after you moved an entry in the chart from position 11 to 7, then the suggested position is 8.
When you insert a new or pick an existing entry, after you deleted an entry at position 4, then the suggested position is 4.
When you insert a new or pick an existing entry, following the viewing of a chart without moving or deleting an entry, then the suggested position is at the end of the chart.
This new feature is part of Chart Your Music version 2.1.5, now available from the app store.
