Only one chance...

We all know…

You only have once chance to make a first impression.

That is equally valid the first time you open a newly installed app.

So, as a developer, you have to think about your onboarding screens, the very first screens you present to the user.

With that in mind, I am working on that onboarding journey. Don’t know if I am on the right track here yet. But from what I gathered, the experience should be concise, clear, not too long.

See below the current status..

The onboarding consists of in total 10 screens through which you can swipe. In the final screen you click the Continue button and off you go. You won’t see those introduction screens anytime soon, unless you go to Settings in the app and click Reset Introduction (as shown below).
